One Esports and FWD Group launched their partnership in 2021. The latest tie-up is aimed at deepening FWD Group’s reach and engagement within the gaming and esports community in Asia.
Omne – which offers esports, music, and gaming features – aims to change the way the esports community feels about insurance. The platform can be downloaded for free on app stores in selected markets.
Established in 2013, FWD Group currently has about 10 million customers across 10 markets.
To boost awareness and downloads for Omne, One Esports will operate a marketing campaign featuring popular gaming personalities. The firm will also produce gaming and esports content in the form of articles and videos for the new app. These include interviews with professional esports athletes and a mini content series with personalities in the industry.
Asia is “one of the fastest-growing regions in terms of esports audiences – a clear sign that esports is pushing into the mainstream,” said Troy Barnes, group chief transformation officer of FWD Insurance.
