Get the inside scoop on how Tech in Asia Singapore is run

Tech in Asia Singapore is back for its seventh edition this May 15 & 16, and it’s gonna be our biggest and best one yet. Behind each successful conference lies an army of reliable and passionate volunteers who make things happen, creating memorable experiences for our attendees. This year, we’re on the lookout once again for some extra help!
Being a volunteer would mean that you have an all-access pass to Tech in Asia Singapore 2018. Plus, you’ll get to form friendships with other techies, gain insights from industry experts at our content stages, and be personally involved in the behind-the-scenes to learn all about how conferences work.
Additional volunteer perks include:
- Two awesome limited edition crew t-shirts
- Priority consideration for a Tech in Asia internship
- Certificate of Participation (for students)
- The opportunity to connect with the tech ecosystem’s stakeholders
Sounds good so far? Below’s a list of roles available, and volunteers can choose to be involved in one of the following teams:
Hospitality
As the initial point of contact with our guests at the conference, you’ll undertake registration, information counter, and ushering duties. You’ll be responsible for making a good first impression and making our guests feel comfortable and welcome.
Meetings
Be the wingman (or wingwoman) at our Speed Dating sessions and play a part in ensuring meetings between startups and investors blossom.
Operations
You’ll be in charge of our bustling exhibition floor, making sure that our exhibiting startups and sponsor booths get the show they’ve prepared so hard for.
Photography & Videography
Have an eye for capturing moments in stills and motions? We want you!
Stage & Speaker
Lights, camera, action! You’ll be responsible for taking care of our speakers and ensuring stage production runs smoothly. (That also means you’ll get to welcome these industry experts in the flesh!)
Social Media
In this case, we’d require you to be glued to your phone for most of the day. You’ll be assisting the team with social media content and keep the rest of the world updated on what’s going on at the conference.
