Germany-based software firm SAP has started the selection process for the first batch of participants in its SAP.iO Foundry Singapore, an initiative aimed at helping early-stage Southeast Asian startups focused on technologies such as machine learning and blockchain.

The pioneer batch for will consist of around 8 to 10 startups. The 13-week program, which will begin in July 2019, will provide selected startups with mentorship services, access to SAP’s resources, and opportunities to collaborate with SAP customers.
SAP is encouraging interested Southeast Asian startups to submit their applications between March 12 and May 15.
SAP.iO Foundry Singapore is the eighth project of its kind, with the seven others set up in Tokyo, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Tel Aviv, New York City, and San Francisco. The programs have helped grow over 100 startups, according a company statement.
