You may have already read about Japan naming ten Pokemon as the soccer team’s World Cup 2014 mascots, but the NintendoTweet tumblr has just posted something better.

Though the blog does not share its source, it does have pictures of what looks like pretty legitimate merchandise. It also adds that the plushies and World Cup-themed pokeball will be released in May this year.
A quick search on Pokemon and Nintendo-related websites and social media didn’t reveal any other info, so you can content yourself with these images for now. I wonder if they’ll sell the merchandise in the Poke Centre?
