🇮🇳 Roundup: BoAt parent files for $266m IPO, more (Updated)

Startups in India, including IMocha, SuperOps.ai, Kissht, Aqgromalin, and Broomees, raised at least US$47.1 million in disclosed funding today from international and local investors.

BoAt parent files DRHP for US$266 million IPO

Imagine Marketing, the parent company of consumer electronics brand BoAt, has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the country’s market regulator, Securities and Exchange Board of India, for a US$266 million IPO.

The IPO consists of a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to US$119 million, along with an offer for sale aggregating up to US$146 million.

Imagine Marketing will use the proceeds from the listing to repay or prepay its debt, the company said in a statement.

Currency converted from Indian rupee to US dollar: US$1 = 75.2 rupees.
