Robbie Antonio steps down from Century Properties amid Revolution probe
“Century Properties Group co-managing director and board member Robbie Antonio stepped down as his firm Revolution Precrafted Properties is being probed by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI),” Rappler reported.
Details:
- Century Properties Group said that its board has accepted Antonio’s request to step down from his post so he could “focus on addressing the pressing issues” of Revolution.
- The resignation is effective immediately.
Context:
- The development comes as the NBI launched an investigation into Revolution after receiving complaints about the startup, which allegedly it hooked several businessmen into schemes and ran away with 150 million pesos (US$3.1 million) in suspicious deals.
- Revolution’s founder and chief executive is the son of Jose Antonio, founder and chair of Century Properties.
