Hello reader,

When I scroll through social media these days, I feel like half of the people I see have turned “going to Japan” into a hobby.

The country has had a post-pandemic tourism boom, with many people I know taking frequent trips there. It’s easy to see why, given the good food and interesting cultural experiences it offers.

Perhaps we can add one more reason to check out Japan, considering this week’s funding data. Some of you, investors, out there might be interested in the company topping the list.
