Indian B2B ecommerce Moglix joins unicorn club after $120m fundraise

Moglix, an Indian business-to-business marketplace for industrial goods, just raised US$120 million in a series E funding that valued the company at US$1 billion.

  • Existing investors: Tiger Global, Sequoia Capital India, and Venture Highway
  • Stage: Series E

  • This pushes Moglix’s total amount raised from investors to US$220 million so far.
  • The company currently provides solutions to more than 500,000 small and medium-sized enterprises and 3,000 manufacturing plants across India, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and the UK. Moglix has a supply chain network of 16,000 suppliers and 35 warehouses.
  • The startup recently launched Credlix, a financing platform for suppliers and manufacturers. They plan to disburse loans worth 1,000 crore (around US$136 million) in the coming year.
