Respond.io streamlines messages from chat apps, web communication platforms, and emails into a centralized dashboard, which enables more efficient customer communication. This is especially pertinent in Asia, where users tend to hold a preference for tailored messages through these platforms compared to Western markets.
The firm said that its services are used by over 10,000 businesses across 86 countries, handling more messages than its three main competitors combined. Its clients include ShareChat, Decathlon, Klook, Yoho, Abenson, and Roche.
Respond.io added that its revenue grew 25x since its last funding round in 2020.
The startup will use the new funding to expand to West Asia, Latin America, and Europe. It also aims to extend its suite of integration capabilities.
The firm was founded in 2017 by Gerardo Salandra, who previously worked at Google and IBM.
