Since getting millions in venture funding from Intel Capital last year, Reebonz has been busy expanding into Australia and launching its online sales Down Under.

The Singapore startup, which offers members-only private sales of branded fashion goods, has also been preparing its flagship physical store in Sydney for a public debut.

Located in Sydney’s busy George Street, the store will launch this month, carrying goods from brands such as Prada, Burberry, Dior, Miu Miu, Chanel, and Marc Jacobs at heavily discounted prices.

This is the second physical store set up by Reebonz. The first — a luxury boutique — has opened doors at Singapore’s Raffles Place. It’s only open to Reebonz’s ‘Black’ and ‘Solitaire’ members — regular members will have to make an appointment to enter the store.

Besides branded fashion goods, Reebonz has also gotten into the general lifestyle products category through a separate brand, Kwerkee, which targets an entirely different demographic.

It sells design pieces, home accessories and basically anything that might have a unique design twist to it.

Startups in the online private sales category have become more prominent in Asian cities with high disposable income.

In the travel vertical, there’s ImpulseFlyer, a private sales sites for luxury and boutique hotels which raised funding from Neoteny Labs. Those interested in wine can check out ChateauAsia, which is operating in Singapore and Hong Kong.
