Real Time Angel Fund (RTAF) has raised 125 crore rupees (US$16.2 million) in its second close, taking its total capital to US$62.3 million.
The early-stage investment fund was set up just seven months ago and is registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India. Since its inception, RTAF said it has invested in 10 startups across sectors including healthtech, fintech, and agritech.
According to CEO Pranay Mathur, the enlarged fund size allows the company to maintain its mission of nurturing India’s next generation of startups.
In January, the firm also launched its own app called Backrr to help investors track their portfolio and stay informed of startup updates.
