500 Startups-backed Thai construction tech firm nets fresh funding
Builk, a Thai tech startup that provides an online construction material-trading platform for construction companies, said it has raised an undisclosed amount of investment.

- Lead investor: Beacon Venture Capital, the venture capital arm of Kasikornbank (KBank)
- Other investors: Three other unnamed strategic investors
- Stage: Series B

- With the funding, Builk aims to strengthen its technology and financial services to enhance Thai companies’ construction material management process.
- The tech firm claims it has helped more than 3,500 companies in the industry digitize their work processes through its SaaS offering and workflow-integrated marketplace models over the past 11 years.
- It also claims to have generated a sales turnover of more than US$16.1 million last year. It plans to expand its presence within Southeast Asia moving forward.
- In 2018, the 500 Startups-backed Builk secured funding from AddVentures, which is the corporate venture arm of Siam Cement Group.
