Razer dives into mobile gaming market with Junglecat gamepad

Razer has finally produced a mobile phone gamepad, and it doesn’t look half bad. Dubbed the Junglecat, the iPhone 5/5S gamepad has a D-pad, AXBY buttons, and bumpers, and can slide behind the phone when not in use.

A made-for-iPhone product, the 20mm-thin controller includes the game controller forwarding feature recently announced at 2014’s Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, and will be able to act as a wireless controller for larger-screen Apple products.

The Junglecat also has an iOS app that allows users to remap its buttons and adjust pressure sensitive, as well as store up to 20 personalized profiles. That same app can also be used to find games that can be used with iOS controllers, and is compatible with other iPhone gamepad devices as well. Good on you, Razer!

The Razer Junglecat is not available yet, but is expected to ship worldwide in July 2014. It will cost $99.99, and S$129.90 in Singapore and RM299.99 in Malaysia.
