In brief: Razer CEO backs real estate startup
Echo Base, a Singapore-based digital real estate startup, today launched its next-generation real estate fund management and services platform focused on the development, investment, and management of smart buildings and integrated developments in Asia Pacific, and selected global gateway cities.
Its maiden project under management is the new Razer Southeast Asia HQ, with the next development to be a smart city project in Southeast Asia.

Singaporean real estate service provider Boustead Projects has invested in Echo Base alongside Moor House Capital, a holding company that is majority controlled by Razer co-founder and CEO Tan Min-Liang.
The fundraise was announced at the groundbreaking ceremony for Razer’s new Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore. Echo Base is working on the construction of the new facility.
The startup’s founder is Bryan Lim, a real estate investment banker who has previously worked at Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs.
