Endeavor Indonesia: These Three Tech Entrepreneurs Will Change the Country

From the left - Vincent iswaratioso (Indomog), Niki Luhur (Kartuku), and Aldi Haryopratomo (Ruma)

Global non-profit Endeavor aspires to be a catalyst for high-impact entrepreneurs around the world, and now it has chosen its first three entrepreneurs from Indonesia. Interestingly they are all IT startups: online payment solution Indomog, payment service provider Kartuku, and Ruma, which empowers the poor to become entrepreneurs using mobile phone technology.

The journey to become Endeavor’s chosen entrepreneurs is very steep and rigorous. For example, the entrepreneurs must pass the International Selection Panel (ISP) by a unanimous decision from its six panelists. The panels select entrepreneurs from all around the world, and this time the city host is Istanbul. Sati Rasuanto, the managing director of Endeavor Indonesia explains:

We are very proud that our three entrepreneurs attending the Istanbul ISP were all selected. They have demonstrated the scalability of their businesses in the country and the entrepreneurs represent the high-impact potential necessary to drive economic growth in Indonesia. We look forward to identifying and supporting more Indonesian high-impact entrepreneurs.

Indonesia is the first Asian country to join the Endeavor program. If you’re interested to know more about the program, you can see further details here and here.
