If you’ve always wanted access to certain kinds of services and data that lie mainly in the hands of government entities, Project Nimbus might be your chance of getting your need heard.
This platform was put together by a bunch of people “who happen to work in organizations that have great relationships with key companies and government entities throughout Singapore“. Project Nimbus is an effort on their part to aggregate key data and services that developers and “innovators” need for their applications, where in strength lies power.
With such a platform that reflects actual demand, government entities and respective content owners will hopefully be more likely to release the data or service demanded. This is a great step forward as many application developers frequently need access to the same kind of data and each time, the wheel is reinvented (trying to cull said data) and precious time wasted.

Thanks to Jason for this tip!
P.S.: The Nimbus 2000 is a flying broom in the Harry Potter series.
