Prepare for an overload of Final Fantasy music

Like Final Fantasy music? Of course you do. The themes created for those JRPGs are modern day classics that send us into daydreams of nostalgia. Whose heart doesn’t instantly melt the instant they hear the first note of Aerith’s theme?

Well, for all of you music lovers out there, Square Enix has a contest going on that might just pique your interest. Right now, if you pre-order the upcoming 3DS rhythm game, Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call along with the newest installment of the Piano Opera series, Piano Opera Final Fantasy VII, VIII, or IX, you will be entered for a chance to win one of twelve tickets to a concert in Japan featuring Final Fantasy music.

For those who are unaware, Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call is a rhythm game that will feature over 200 songs spanning the entirety of the Final Fantasy universe. Piano Opera is a CD-rom compilation of twelve of your favorite songs from Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, and Final Fantasy IX, rearranged for the piano.

It’s only when you pre-order both of these two items on the Square Enix Japan store that you will be entered for a drawing to attend the live piano concert, Piano Opera music from Final Fantasy. Six lucky winners will get to attend the May 9, 2014, concert on Friday, while the other six will get tickets for the May 10, 2014, one on Sunday. Another 20 people will be selected to win some Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call goods.

You have until March 31 at 6:00 pm to enter the contest, but keep in mind that you will have to be in Japan to collect the prizes.
