With the fresh funding, Bambu said it will be able to take on new opportunities and reach a wider business-to-business audience through scalable software-as-a-service solutions.
The company plans “to target new segments within financial services, as well as build up delivery and support teams in key global markets,” said Bambu CEO and founder Ned Phillips. “We are committed to working with a global client base to digitize saving and investing so it’s easier and more accessible to investors everywhere.”
In the past three years, Bambu has established product-market fit as a robo-advisor provider to more than 15 financial institutions globally, it said in a statement.
Its team has grown to 70 employees and has been present in Singapore, London, Hong Kong, San Francisco, and Johannesburg. The company said it serves clients in the Asia and Europe as well as the US and United Arab Emirates.
