Loi Luu, the co-founder of blockchain startup Kyber Network, is launching Caliber, a new venture builder that aims to create crypto consumer apps and infrastructure.
The studio plans to work with Web3 founders building services for the “next wave of crypto retail users,” Luu wrote in a LinkedIn post. It will support these projects through series A rounds and beyond.
Tech in Asia has reached out to Luu for comment.
In its website, the company said it provides support for design and engineering as well as finance and operations. It takes a hands-on approach to venture building, expecting to work closely with founders and take part in day-to-day operations for six to nine months.
Caliber also said on its website that its team members previously built projects like Zilliqa and Instadapp.
Luu left his position as CEO of Kyber Network in January 2022. He then became the chairman of the Kyber Group, which also houses Web3 wallet Krystal as well as investment arm Kyber Ventures.
