Dota 2 pro? Win money and fame in ESL Asia’s new Go4Dota2 Cup series!
The Electronic Sports League Asia (ESL Asia) is dipping yet another toe into the eSports fray in Southeast Asia, with its inaugural Go4Dota2 Cup series kicking off this June 1. And as if it’s name isn’t obvious enough, the cup is centred around competitive Dota 2.
The first Go4Dota2 Cup series in Southeast Asia is sponsored by BenQ Asia Pacific Corporation, and will have a weekly Go4Dota2 cup every Sunday as well as a monthly grand final after every four weeks.
The Go4Dota2 Weekly Cup is a single elimination format tournament with best-of-one rounds and a best-of-three finals. The winners walk away with $100, while the top finishing teams receive points that help determine their monthly standings according to ESL Asia. Only the top eight ranked teams can qualify for the month finals, where the winning team leaves with $350. There is no limit in the number of teams that can join, and no country restrictions.

ESL Asia already has a Go4BF4 Cup series going, and it’s nice to see the organization recognize how popular Dota 2 is in Asia!
