Founded last year, KitaLulus lets users look for jobs, take screening tests, and contact potential employers directly via WhatsApp. Jobseekers can also take relevant courses and build professional networks before applying for their desired positions.

In a statement, the company said it facilitates around 2 million job applications every month from a million active users. Its clients include logistics startup Shipper, e-grocery firm Segari, and corporations such as Mustika Ratu and Japfa Group.

Go-Ventures partner Aditya Kamath said that the startup has been capital efficient. “Its marketing expense of US$0.12 per install demonstrates strong pull from the market,” he added.

KitaLulus is founded by Stevien Jimmy, co-founder of news aggregator app Baca, and Wei-Chuan Chew, a founding team member of Grab. It currently operates in 15 cities across Indonesia.

The firm plans to use the fresh funding for hiring, product development, and expansion purposes. It aims to reach 20 more Indonesian cities such as Balikpapan, Kediri, and Cirebon after this investment.

  • Indogen Capital
  • FEBE Ventures
