Dungeons & Dragons goes mobile with DeNA’s Arena of War

Dungeons & Dragons that’s not Dungeons & Dragons? DeNA and Wizards of the Coast today announced Arena of War, the first ever free-to-play D&D mobile game for the iOS, and it’s not your usual pen and paper foray into the Forgotten Realms.

The turn-based 3D battle-RPG will have you fighting for the gods of good during the Sundering, an epic, cataclysmic event that happened in the Realms. Players will be able to build parties and invite friends to play together.

Arena of War is an epic and imaginative experience and we could not be more honored to be partnering with Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro to launch the first ever free-to-play mobile Dungeons & Dragons game,” Tiburcio De la Carcova, speaking for DeNA.

Arena of War is available for free on the App Store, and will be coming to Android mobile devices soon.
