The world of Orience opens its doors to mobile gamers today, as Final Fantasy Agito has finally hit the Japanese Android and iOS stores.
The third and final trailer for the game has also been released, which you can view below:
Final Fantasy Agito is set in the same world as its prequel Final Fantasy Type-0. Final Fantasy Agito features a turn-based combat system, and graphics that will push your mobile phone to its limits.
Your role in Final Fantasy Agito is that of a cadet at the Rubrum Magical Academy who has been chosen as the Agito, a figure who is destined to save the world from destruction.
Final Fantasy Agito is an episodic game, meaning that you have to pay and download each episode separately to continue the game. The first episode is currently available free of charge.
No word has been given on whether an English release is in the works, but given the success of the Final Fantasy series outside of Japan I don’t think it’s too much to hope for.
