Persona Q Shadow of the Labyrinth’s new website gives us some beary interesting details

Atlus has announced that both Persona 5 and Persona 4: Dancing all Night will get an international release sometime in 2015, but that wasn’t the end of today’s Persona news. It looks like Persona Q Shadow of the Labyrinth will also be getting an international release, and much sooner than the other two. Along with this announcement, Atlus posted a new website that gives a beary detailed explanation of the upcoming 3DS title.

On this new site, Persona 4’s Teddy walks us through the premise of the game. He explains that at the start of the game, you will have to choose between Persona 3 and Persona 4’s protagonists. If you choose Persona 3’s, you will start the game getting ready for your school’s culture festival before it is suddenly canceled due to a typhoon. A mysterious bell sound then summons your party to this mysterious school, which is the start of your new adventure.

If you choose Persona 4’s main character, you will start off in Inaba during your high school’s culture festival. As you walk around, you will notice that the school looks the same, but you do not recognize any of the students. On top of that, there is a massive bell tower outside the school that has never been there. As you investigate your surroundings, you run into shadows to fight and eventually you join up with the team from Persona 3.

Regardless of which hero you choose, you will inevitably run into two new characters, Rei and Zen. Both of these suspicious looking freshman have somehow lost their memory and will join you in your fight.

As you play, you will be able to combine the characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4 to make your ultimate Persona team. Teddy recommends placing him on a team of all girls to form the Teddy Harem, but you can choose whoever you want.

The game will be released on June 5, 2014 in Japan on the 3DS, and will then see an international release later this Fall. The website also announced that if you preorder the game, you will get a special soundtrack that features music from Persona Q Shadow of the Labyrinth.
