Wayi Entertainment has named Perfect World as the Chinese publisher of its MOBA game, God of Destiny. The Taiwanese company’s game will be the third MOBA under Perfect World, the first two being the indomitable Dota 2 and Third Sword.
God of Destiny has been in open beta since June 19, and has since recorded over 150,000 registered users. Wayi Entertainment also included note of God of Destiny’s English edition in its announcement; the English version of the game is currently being worked on, but has no fixed release date.
Given the language complexities of a myth-and-legend based MOBA’s lore, it might just take a while.
