Sina Cup Supernova Dota 2 Open returns with a bigger prize pool

The Sina Cup Supernova Dota 2 Open returns on November 25 for its second tournament, this time with a prize pool of 65,000 RMB ($10,670), more than doubling the 27,000 RMB ($4,431.75) prize pool the September cup had.

Returning to the fray this round are Invictus Gaming (iG) and TongFu, who won first and second place respectively in the previous Sina Cup. They will be joined by other major teams such as:

• Team DK
• LGD.cn
• LGD.int
• Rising Stars
• Vici Gaming (VG)
• Team Titan

A qualifier will be held to determine the four remaining teams of the 10-day tournament. These twelve teams will then play the Sina Cup in a double-elimination format. It will be the first time since the great Chinese reshuffle that the newly formed Team DK, LGD.int, Rising Stars, and Team Titan are invited; on the other hand, team Rattlesnake have missed out on an invite due to their recent lackluster performance.

Fans can enjoy watching the game via the Dota 2 client by purchasing the in-game ticket for $3.99. Matches will also be streamed in English by BeyondTheSummit.
