In brief: Oyo plans to IPO in 2 to 3 years, sources say
- Indian hospitality chain Oyo Hotels and Homes is working on an initial share offering in the next two to three years, Livemint reported, citing two people aware of the development.
- “An IPO has been an integral part of all investor conversations over the last couple of months. […] The company is taking several steps towards this major goal,” one of the sources, who’s directly associated with Oyo, said.
- If the share sale materializes, it could value Oyo at up to US$18 billion, according to four non-Oyo investors.
- Oyo has not yet decided where it intends to list its shares, but the company may likely bring it overseas, the other source said.
