Freshworks, a Nasdaq-listed SaaS company, posted a revenue of US$133.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2022, a 26% rise compared to the same period the year before.
Total revenue for 2022 stood at US$498 million, representing a year-on-year growth of 34%.
“Despite macroeconomic uncertainty throughout the year, I am pleased with our focus on product innovation, expansion, and new business, which drove revenue growth and improved cash flow. We will continue this focus into 2023,” said Girish Mathrubootham, CEO and founder of Freshworks.
Based on current market conditions, the company expects a 16% to 18% year-on-year growth in revenue during the March quarter.
The India-founded company also said that it has surpassed US$500 million in annual recurring revenue. It added that operating losses in the fourth quarter went down from US$10.7 million in 2021 to US$2.8 million in 2022.
Betting on AI, Freshworks recently partnered with Meta to automate communication with buyers through WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
