Founded by David Nadal and Jean-Yves Geffroy in 1998, Eden Games has developed several popular racing games such as V-Rally, Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed, F1 Mobile Racing, and Gear Club. It also has a long-term partnership with more than 30 prominent automotive manufacturers, including BMW, Bugatti, Porsche, Lotus, and Pagani.
The firm has sold 13 million game boxes, while its apps have been downloaded over 60 million times.
In a statement, Animoca Brands said that it will bank on Eden Games’ expertise to work on existing and new titles in the REVV Motorsport ecosystem of blockchain-based racing games. The new titles will fill the void that was left by F1 Delta Time, an NFT racing game from Animoca Brands that ceased operations last month.
