The deal will help The Parent Inc and Line explore new products in the fast-growing mother and baby care market in Asia Pacific. The sector is poised to hit nearly US$48 billion in value by 2026.
Starting as an online blog, theAsianparent has grown to become a social network that serves as an information resource for parents in the region. The Parent Inc also operates direct-to-consumer brand Mama’s Choice, which manufactures pregnancy, nursing, baby care, and household products for Asian families.
“In 2021, we grew our revenue by 100% year-on-year, a trajectory we will pursue in 2022 while expanding into even more markets,” said The Parent CEO Roshni Mahtani.

Last year, theAsianparent appointed former Johnson & Johnson executive Akshay Trivedi as its new chief commercial officer.
