Unicommerce stock hits record low despite profit growth
Shares of the ecommerce-focused SaaS company Unicommerce fell over 4% to an all-time low of 112.55 rupees (US$1,30) on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Feb. 24.
This decline was influenced by broader market uncertainties, including concerns over United States tariff policies and domestic economic growth, which affected investor confidence.
As of 12:11 PM, Unicommerce’s stock was trading at 114.35 rupees (US$1,32), reflecting a 2.47% loss during the session.
This drop continued a trend of losses, resulting in a 22% decline for the company’s shares over the past 11 trading days.
Despite the stock’s downturn, Unicommerce reported positive financial results for the third quarter of the current fiscal year (FY25).
The company’s net profit increased 62.1% year-on-year 6.29 crore rupees (US$726.000), up from 3.88 crore rupees (US$448.000) in the same period last year. Sequentially, profits rose by 40.7%.
