Unicommerce acquires Shipway shipping platform
Unicommerce has acquired the remaining 57.24% stake in Shipway, a shipping solutions platform, through a share swap deal.
In this transaction, Unicommerce will issue 6.03 million shares to Shipway co-founders Vikas Garg, Gaurav Gupta, and shareholder Puneet Gupta in exchange for 7,610 equity shares of Shipway.
Once finalized, Shipway will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unicommerce.
The acquisition aims to enhance Unicommerce’s capabilities in the ecommerce enablement sector.
Shipway, founded in 2015, offers automated shipping solutions and operates a marketing technology platform called ConvertWay.
