Uber and its CEO Dara Khosrowshahi have each donated US$1 million to United States President-elect Donald Trump’s inaugural fund, according to a company spokesperson.

This contribution represents the largest individual political donation made by Khosrowshahi.

Uber donated US$1 million to outgoing President Joe Biden’s inauguration in 2021, but Khosrowshahi did not personally contribute at that time.

This donation adds Uber to a list of technology companies supporting the incoming administration.
