Uber has launched a division called Scaled Solutions, focusing on AI annotation and data labeling.

The ride-hailing company is hiring contractors in the United States, Canada, and India.

These contractors will work on projects for Uber’s internal data needs and for external companies, including self-driving tech firm Aurora Innovation and video game maker Niantic.

This initiative places Uber in the expanding data labeling market, which is seeing growing demand for AI technologies.
