Shein boosts solar power use across China facilities
Fast fashion retailer Shein has increased its use of solar energy across its facilities and supplier factories in China.
In 2024, the company utilized over 65 million kilowatt-hours of solar power, a 150% increase from the previous year. This amount resulted in a reduction of over 35,000 tons of carbon emissions.
By the end of 2024, Shein reported a 180% increase in the number of supplier factories equipped with rooftop solar panels.
