Fast-fashion retailer Shein has officially opened its Bay Area Smart Industrial Park in Zhaoqing, China’s Guangdong province, further expanding its supply chain network in the country’s Greater Bay Area.
The new facility is set to begin operations by the end of 2025. The total investment for this initiative is projected to exceed 10 billion yuan (around US$1.4 billion) and will significantly support global deliveries.
Once operational, it will add 260,000 square meters of warehouse space to Shein’s existing 700,000 square meters in the city.
Shein has been investing in its supply chain infrastructure in the Greater Bay Area for over a decade, with significant projects spanning cities like Guangzhou and Foshan.
