Lyft Inc. is developing a simplified version of its ride-hailing app, called “Lyft Silver,” which is aimed at elderly users.

The feature was identified in the publicly available iOS code.

According to the code, Lyft Silver will offer a user-friendly interface tailored for seniors.

Features will include an easier navigation layout, access to customer support, the ability to share trip details with a trusted contact, and the option to use digital gift cards from family or friends.

Lyft has not provided an official comment on this feature.
