India’s ePlane partners with Dubai-based Empire Aviation
The ePlane Company, an air mobility startup, has announced a partnership with Dubai-based Empire Aviation Group.
This alliance aims to deploy electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles in India, the UAE, Thailand, and Indonesia to establish urban air mobility solutions.
Empire Aviation Group will provide its knowledge in aviation operations, focusing on safety and fleet management to assist in the entry of The ePlane Company’s aircraft into these markets.
Founded in 2019 by IIT Madras professor Satya Chakravarthy, The ePlane Company focuses on mitigating traffic congestion in urban areas with its eVTOL aircraft.
