Flying taxi startup The ePlane Company used this pitch deck to net $1m in seed money

ABOUT

The ePlane Company is a transportation firm that is developing electric planes, with the aim to make city commuting easier at only 1.5x the price of current taxi fares. Besides transporting people, the flying taxi can also deliver cargo to remote and rural areas.

The startup was founded in April 2017 by Professor Satya Chakravarthy, a co-founder of multiple satellites, vehicles, and energy firms. His co-founder Pranjal Mehta had previously tried his hand at aerial commuting with helicopter taxi service Urban X.

the ePlane Company built a small-scale prototype as a bootstrapped firm with a staff of 10 people. However, the company’s workforce is set to grow to 25 employees.
