Google announced that starting today, all AI features in its Workspace suite—including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Meet—will no longer incur an additional fee of US$20 per user per month under the Gemini Business plan.

These features are now included in standard subscriptions. However, this update comes with a price increase.

The cost of Workspace subscriptions will rise by approximately US$2 per user per month, according to Jerry Dischler, Google’s president of cloud applications.

The base subscription price will increase from US$12 to US$14 per month.

Included AI tools consist of email summaries in Gmail, design generators for spreadsheets and videos, an automated meeting note-taker, and writing tools across applications.

Users will also have access to the Gemini chatbot.
