Google has launched a Gmail feature that lets Workspace users add events directly to Google Calendar from emails.

Powered by Gemini AI, the tool detects event details in emails and shows an “add to calendar” button for quick scheduling.

Users can confirm event details in a Gmail side panel, but the feature is only available in English and on the web.

It does not add guests or process emails with existing event data, such as flight or restaurant reservations.

The tool is available to Google Workspace Business and Enterprise users, plus select Gemini and Google One AI Premium subscribers.
