GM names first chief AI officer

On March 3, General Motors (GM) announced the appointment of Barak Turovsky, 49, as its first chief AI officer.

Turovsky, previously an AI leader at Cisco and Google, will be part of GM’s software and services engineering team.

In this new position, Turovsky will focus on enhancing GM’s AI capabilities. He will integrate AI software into its vehicles and improve operational efficiency.
