Foxconn expects profit rise on AI server demand
Taiwan-based electronics manufacturer Foxconn is projected to report a 2.35% increase in fourth-quarter profits due to strong demand for AI servers.
Analysts estimate the company’s net profit for October to December 2024 at US$1.65 billion.
In January, Foxconn reported that its fourth-quarter revenue increased by 15.2%, setting a record for the period backed by robust sales of AI servers.
The company expects its first-quarter performance to exceed the average of the past five years. This indicates significant year-over-year growth, but it has not provided specific numerical guidance.
