BYD launches in Kazakhstan
BYD has officially launched its vehicles in Kazakhstan, partnering with Astana Motors.
The launch events occurred in BYD Al-Farabi in Almaty and BYD Turan Astana, showcasing the Han EV sedan and Song Plus models as the first offerings.
The vehicles have been tailored for Kazakhstan’s climate and road conditions.
The Han EV features a blade battery, CTB body integration, and 380 kW of power, reaching 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. It has a 565 km WLTP range and supports 120 kW fast charging.
The Song Plus EV offers a 505–602 km range and includes advanced driving assistance. The plug-in hybrid Song Plus DM-i has a 150 km electric range and 1,200 km total range.
