Brockman returns as OpenAI president amid team shakeup

OpenAI co-founder Greg Brockman has rejoined the company as president after a three-month sabbatical, according to his Tuesday post on X.

Brockman’s return comes after OpenAI’s recent funding round valued the company at approximately US$157 billion.

During his absence, several key executives departed the company, including Chief Technology Officer Mira Murati and research chief Bob McGrew.
