Amazon to unveil AI-enhanced Alexa with new features
Amazon will unveil an AI-enhanced version of Alexa on Feb. 26 at an event in New York.
This upgraded version of Alexa can handle multiple prompts and perform tasks autonomously, unlike the current version, which only processes one command at a time.
Initially, the service will be available for free to a limited number of users. Later, it will introduce subscription fees ranging from US$5 to US$10 per month.
The new Alexa will work with existing devices and offer personalized recommendations, leveraging Amazon’s investment in Anthropic, an AI software startup.
