Musiio claims that this is the first VC-led investment in a Singaporean deep tech music company
The startup’s AI-powered core technology analyzes and “listens” to massive volumes of music released daily to instantly rank, categorize, and seek out songs of interest for business partners. Musiio’s partners include record labels, music publishers, and “sync companies.” According to the company, the industry relies on third-party data for information such as play counts or social media traction.
Founded in April 2018, Musiio is currently running enterprise pilots with three global music companies.
