GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, has led a US$129 million series E funding round for Quantexa, a London-based data analytics and AI startup.
Quantexa now has a post-money valuation of US$1.8 billion, according to a statement. The company’s platform helps firms overcome challenges in data management, know-your-client measures, financial fraud and security, and customer intelligence, among others.
Founded in 2016, Quantexa has offices across Europe, Australia, Asia, and North America.
In the past few years, GIC has been expanding its AI-related investments. Notable companies in its AI portfolio include MioTech, SambaNova Systems, and Pagaya.
More recently, the investor backed Envision Digital, a Singapore-based greentech firm that bills itself as “the world’s leading AIoT software leader for net zero.”
