Singapore’s Temasek Trust Capital is among the investors backing the US$10 million series A round of US impact-verification and intelligence firm BlueMark.
Founded in 2020, New York-based BlueMark provides investors with impact verification services, benchmarks, and analytics. It has completed 125 verifications for investors and manages a combined US$206 billion in assets, the company said in a statement.
According to the Global Impact Investing Network, there’s now more than US$1 trillion in impact assets under management globally.
There’s also a strong demand for greater transparency and integrity in the impact and sustainable investing market, says BlueMark CEO Christina Leijonhufvud.
The new funds will be used to strengthen BlueMark’s offerings to institutional investors and expand its industry presence with a focus on Asia.
The round is led by S&P Global. And besides Temasek Trust Capital, investors such as Blue Haven Initiative, Gunung Capital, Tsao Family Office, Ford Foundation, and Radicle Impact also participated.
