Mr Young Joon Baik, Senior Director (Asia Region) of Skyhook Wireless, will provide an overview of Skyhook Wireless, including its background and funding. He will then discuss the basic technology and it’s SDK, followed by an overview about the Developer program. Young will conclude by demonstrating apps that use Skyhook, and discuss how the relationship is beneficial for developers.
Young Joon Baik’s Bio
YJ Baik is currently the Senior Director of the Asia region at Skyhook Wireless, and manages business development across Asia. Prior to joining Skyhook Wireless, Mr. Baik was VP at Giuliani Security & Safety Asia where he lead cooperate security and anti-terrorism. Prior to that, Mr. Baik served as Director of Product Management at Business Objects. Before Business Objects, YJ was Principal Engineer at i18N OpenMarket Inc. for four years. Mr. Baik also held the position of Product Manager for Microsoft Japan KK, where he defined the specification of the first version of Japanese Word. Mr. Baik holds a BS in Computer and Information Science from the University of Oregion.
